Il y a des êtres qui rendent le monde plus vaste. Christophe (ou Chris pour les intimes) était de ceux-là. Un homme qui savait transformer chaque moment simple en un souvenir précieux. Christophe, c’était l’intelligence du cœur mêlée à un humour redoutable et à un sourire ravageur.
Chris n’a jamais laissé la maladie dicter sa route. Malgré les tempêtes, il a choisi de bâtir : une famille merveilleuse, des amitiés indestructibles et un parcours semé d’impacts pour la suite.
Il s’en va en nous laissant un mode d’emploi : vivre l’instant présent avec audace et détermination; et toujours, absolument toujours, avec le sourire.
Aujourd’hui, son inspiration demeure. Il nous rappelle que la meilleure version de nous-mêmes se conjugue au présent.
En son hommage, la famille de Christophe a choisi de soutenir la fondation KickCancer. Votre contribution est un geste pour la vie, à l’image de celle que Chris a menée : vibrante et tournée vers l’avenir.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back!
We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies.
Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.
Your gift helps fund either a research project selected by KickCancer, in line with strict evaluation criteria, or our advocacy and awareness activities. Every new research project, policy milestone or patient empowerment initiative contributes to what truly matters: better treatments, more innovation and real hope for children, adolescents and young adults (AYA) with cancer.
Through FIGHT KIDS CANCER, a European initiative dedicated to paediatric oncology, we support innovative research projects. In Belgium, we work closely with the Belgian Society for Paediatric Haematology Oncology (BSPHO) to support the participation of Belgian paediatric oncology centres in international academic clinical trials.
Our advocacy and awareness activities are just as important. They aim to ensure that pharmaceutical companies are required or incentivised to invest more in research in paediatric cancer, that governments invest more in research infrastructure, and that other NGOs active in the cancer field play their part in advancing research in paediatric cancer.
