Cette année encore, nous avons une mission, une mission toute particulière qui me tient énormément à cœur ! Aider à combattre le cancer pédiatrique chez les enfants.

Savez vous que le taux de guérison des cancers pédiatriques stagne depuis 20 ans alors que des progrès importants ont été réalisés en oncologie adulte pendant la même période?

En tant que kinésithérapeute spécialisée en neuropédiatrie, je suis chaque jour amenée à prendre en charge des petits patients atteints de pathologies diverses. Mais dans ceux là se retrouvent les cancers pédiatriques ...
Sur deux ans, j’ai accompagné 2 merveilleux enfants (Pablo & Hugo) atteints de cancer incurable (GITC). Une leçon de vie merveilleuse mais surtout tellement d’incompréhension et de colère face à cette injustice.

Alors aujourd’hui, nous avons plus que besoin de vous pour aider la recherche sur le cancer pédiatrique. Chaque euro comptera!

Tous ensemble, nous ferons tout pour que ce cancer s’éloigne, le plus loin possible de chaque famille.

We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies. Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, 100% of the funds raised by you will finance innovative research projects selected thanks to the European FIGHT KIDS CANCER initiative.

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a European call for projects that we launched together with Imaginefor Margo (France) and Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg).

Our second FIGHT KIDS CANCER call for projects lead to the selection, by independent international experts, of 5 new innovative research projects of European scope for a total amount of 3,45 million euros of which KickCancer will finance 800 000 €. Through these projects, we hope to foster improvements in the knowledge and treatment of the following diseases: B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (clinical trial), ewing's sarcomas (clinical trial), medulloblastomas (translational project), neuroblastomas (2 translational projects).

There is ONE EXTRA project we would love to tell you more about… but we need to raise more funds than initially planned. Are you in to help us reach one million euros to fund this mystery project?

Je n’ai pas eu l’occasion de participer comme l’année passée. J’ai donc décidé de faire un don cette année mais je ne connaissais personne qui y participait. J’avais parcouru toutes les histoires et je me souvenais beaucoup du petit Pablo, souvenir qui, parmi tant d’autres, m’avait beaucoup marquée. J’avais fort pensé à lui en foulant mes pas l’année passée. C’est donc en son nom que je participe à la recherche contre cette foutue maladie. De tout cœur avec sa famille et ses amis.
