My Companion — Support Kit

Do you feel like supporting KickCancer to release the first-ever support kit for young cancer patients and their family? Thanks to you, each patient will receive the support kit My Companion on the day of diagnosis in every Belgian paediatric cancer hospital unit.

When a family hears their child has cancer, they need to land on their feet fast and take the most appropriate decisions possible. Our support kit will help them gain back control under challenging circumstances.

The support kit contains all important information that is relevant from day one: an inventory of reliable information sources, patients’ rights, a glossary (cancer types, treatments…), relevant questions to ask during a consultation, a treatment calendar and great tips and tricks shared by former patients to organise their daily life as smoothly as possible.

* If you donate €40 or more over the course of a whole tax year (2023) to KickCancer, you will receive during the first trimester of 2024 a tax certificate entitling you to a tax reduction of up to 45% of the amount given (€40 would then cost you only €22).
