Het vijfde verdiep van het kinderziekenhuis van het UZ Gent oftewel 5K12D.
Een plek waar je nooit wou zijn maar waar je wel met alle liefde wordt ontvangen. Een plek waar banden gesmeed worden tussen lotgenoten. Een band waar we dankbaar om zijn. Samen willen we ons dan ook graag inzetten voor de organisatie Kickcancer.

We zamelen geld in voor Kickcancer dat onderzoek doet naar kinderkanker. Nieuwe behandelingen vinden, bestaande behandelingen verbeteren en kinderkanker voor eens en voor altijd zo ver weg shotten dat het nooit, maar dan ook nooit meer terugkomt!

Mocht je Loïc willen steunen in zijn strijd tegen leukemie maar weet je niet goed wat je kan doen dan is dit de manier! Het geld is niet voor ons of voor Loïc maar wel voor de kinderen die in de toekomst zullen moeten vechten tegen kanker.
Geen van deze kinderen verdient zoiets. Wat ze wel verdienen is een behandeling op maat.

Op 24 september 2023 zal ik hiervoor ook meelopen in Brussel en organiseer ik deze inzamelactie!

FIGHT KIDS CANCER is a European call for projects that we launched together with Imaginefor Margo (France) and Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner (Luxembourg).

Our second FIGHT KIDS CANCER call for projects lead to the selection, by independent international experts, of 5 new innovative research projects of European scope for a total amount of 3,45 million euros of which KickCancer will finance 800 000 €. Through these projects, we hope to foster improvements in the knowledge and treatment of the following diseases: B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (clinical trial), ewing's sarcomas (clinical trial), medulloblastomas (translational project), neuroblastomas (2 translational projects).

There is ONE EXTRA project we would love to tell you more about… but we need to raise more funds than initially planned. Are you in to help us reach one million euros to fund this mystery project?
