EDIT (11/06/2025): Onze lieve Rufus overleed helaas op 7 juni 2025, omringd door mama en papa en boordevol liefde. Maar voor ons heeft hij toch gewonnen want hij heeft van zijn leven een meesterwerk gemaakt. Wij zijn alleen maar trots op hem. Meer dan ooit willen wij samen deze vieze vuile ziekte een lesje leren!

Na een helse strijd tegen een zeldzame en agressieve hersentumor, is Rufus na veel chemotherapieën, 3 stamceltransplantaties en protontherapie in herstel. We leren te leven met alle negatieve gevolgen van de behandelingen, maar zijn eigenlijk gewoon zo dankbaar dat hij er nog is. Helaas kennen we maar al te veel gezinnen waar het slechter afliep. Dit MAG NIET MEER! Er moet dringend meer geld gaan naar onderzoek omtrent kinderkanker. Let's kick it!!!! Steun mij nu en laten we het kankermonster een lesje leren. Voor de kids ♡♡♡
