UN NOUVEAU CHALLENGE POUR DEUX FOUS … LA DIAGONALE !


Nous sommes 2 traileurs et professionnels de la santé. Vincent est kinésithérapeute, et Philippe est ostéopathe.

Notre passion pour le sport nous pousse à repousser nos limites physiques ainsi que celles de la douleur … Notre objectif est de boucler le 21 octobre 2021 la « Diagonale des fous », qui est un Ultra Trail à l’île de la Réunion (http://www.grandraid-reunion.com), une course de 166 km et 10000 m de dénivelé, à boucler en moins de 66h.

Nous sommes conscients de la chance qui nous est accordée de pouvoir y participer!
C’est pourquoi, nous voudrions mettre cette chance au service de tous les enfants « kickcancer » et de récolter un maximum de fonds pour la recherche contre le cancer.

Tout au long de cette année d’entrainement, nous participerons à un maximum de trails. Chaque évènement sera l’occasion de faire connaître l’association Kickcancer et donc de récolter des dons.

We have a mission. A beautiful mission. We want to cure every child with cancer.

Find new treatments, improve existing ones, and kick children’s cancer to send it far, far away forever and may it never come back!

We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies.

Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.

Your gift helps fund either a research project selected by KickCancer, in line with strict evaluation criteria, or our advocacy and awareness activities. Every new research project, policy milestone or patient empowerment initiative contributes to what truly matters: better treatments, more innovation and real hope for children, adolescents and young adults (AYA) with cancer.

Through FIGHT KIDS CANCER, a European initiative dedicated to paediatric oncology, we support innovative research projects. In Belgium, we work closely with the Belgian Society for Paediatric Haematology Oncology (BSPHO) to support the participation of Belgian paediatric oncology centres in international academic clinical trials.

Our advocacy and awareness activities are just as important. They aim to ensure that pharmaceutical companies are required or incentivised to invest more in research in paediatric cancer, that governments invest more in research infrastructure, and that other NGOs active in the cancer field play their part in advancing research in paediatric cancer.
