Je m'appelle Ghislain, j'ai 18 ans et j'aime beaucoup le vélo. J'ai toujours eu soif de défis et d'aventures et j'ai donc rassemblé mes amis les plus fidèles pour m'accompagner dans mes aventures. Il y a deux mois, nous avons fait 300 kilomètres à vélo mais nous avons eu envie d'aller plus loin. Nous nous sommes donc lancé le défi de faire 500 kilomètres à vélo à travers la Belgique tous ensemble mais nous ne voulions pas faire cela seulement pour le plaisir. Nous souhaitions, en même temps, venir en aide aux personnes qui en ont besoin. Nous avons choisi de vous partager ce défi via cette organisation car la lutte contre le cancer est vraiment quelque chose qui nous tient à coeur et nous faisons cela pour aider un ami et surtout son frère, qui est malheureusement touché par un cancer. Nous espèrons qu'ils se reconnaîtront en passant par là. Nous vous remercions déjà tous pour votre soutien mais surtout pour votre générosité. Merci à tous !

We therefore financially support scientific research, and bring together the drive, inspiration and knowledge of everyone involved. From researchers, doctors and parents to politicians and pharmaceutical companies.
Only a joint effort can ensure that children with cancer are cured and better cured.
Your gift helps fund either a research project selected by KickCancer, in line with strict evaluation criteria, or our advocacy and awareness activities. Every new research project, policy milestone or patient empowerment initiative contributes to what truly matters: better treatments, more innovation and real hope for children, adolescents and young adults (AYA) with cancer.
Through FIGHT KIDS CANCER, a European initiative dedicated to paediatric oncology, we support innovative research projects. In Belgium, we work closely with the Belgian Society for Paediatric Haematology Oncology (BSPHO) to support the participation of Belgian paediatric oncology centres in international academic clinical trials.
Our advocacy and awareness activities are just as important. They aim to ensure that pharmaceutical companies are required or incentivised to invest more in research in paediatric cancer, that governments invest more in research infrastructure, and that other NGOs active in the cancer field play their part in advancing research in paediatric cancer.
