IHI'S KICKING CANCER

For the fourth time, the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) members are getting together privately to support the fundraising event “RUN TO KICK”.

Children’s diseases is an important topic for IHI, in particular children and adolescents with cancer.

We are already supporting two research projects:
- Academic and industry scientists industry of our project ITCC-P4 (https://www.itccp4.eu) are working to accelerate new and effective oncology drug development by establishing a new preclinical proof-of-concept platform that will provide high-quality biological and preclinical rationale necessary to advance the field.
- Because half of all medicines used in children have never actually been tested in children, our ‘Conect4children’ project (c4c: https://conect4children.org) is working to change this by creating a pan-European network for paediatric clinical trials.
