RUN TO KICK is a festive non-competitive event (no official time keeping, no ranking and no time slots), the purpose of which consists in mobilising a wide audience in favour of the KickCancer Foundation, which supports research against children cancer.
RUN TO KICK is organised by: KickCancer, public interest foundation under Belgian law, which has its offices located at Rue de l’Aurore 24, 1000 Brussels.

RUN TO KICK will take place on Sunday September 27th in the parc of Tervuren, at the following address: Steenputten 6, 3080 Tervuren, Belgium.
Participants will be able to take part by walking or running on 2 or 5km routes and running-only on a 10km route in the Tervuren Park.
RUN TO KICK is open to everyone (whether licensed or not) without age limit. It is expressly stated that all participants take part in the event under their sole responsibility. Participants declare to be medically fit and to be in good physical condition to walk or run at the pace of their choice on an untimed track of 2, 5 or 10 km.
Participants undertake to communicate accurate information when they register to RUN TO KICK.
Any child under the age of 12 must be accompanied on site by an adult in charge of their care and remains under its surveillance and authority during the whole duration of the event. Children of 12 years of age and above can enter the site without accompanying adult; however, they are allowed to enter under the authority and responsibility of their parents or legal tutor.
Registration to RUN TO KICK occurs online on the event’s website in two steps:
You must accept the present rules and regulations in order to register to RUN TO KICK. All registrations will be closed on September 20 at midnight.
Registration is final and confirmed when the participant has raised the Minimum Amount or more. Jersey numbers will be handed on Sunday September 27 only to those participants whose registration is final and confirmed as defined hereunder.

Any registration is personal and final and cannot be reimbursed for any reason whatsoever, including in the event the participant does not succeed to raise the Minimum Amount.
No registration transfer is allowed for any reason whatsoever. Any person transferring his/her jersey number to a third person will be held responsible in the event of an accident occurring during the event. The organiser declines any responsibility in the event of damage or accident in case of transfer of jersey number.
Any participant who has not raised the Minimum Amount or more will not be entitled to participate in RUN TO KICK and his/her registration will not be confirmed.
Jersey numbers will be available on site upon presentation of an identity document and of the personal QR code provided in the confirmation email. The jersey number will only be handed over provided the participant raised the Minimum Amount through his/her personal fundraising page.
The jersey numbers must be withdrawn prior to the time indicated in the confirmation email sent to the participants. After that time, no jersey numbers can be withdrawn. The RUN TO KICK organiser cannot be held responsible if participants request their jersey number after the time indicated in the confirmation email and if the organiser can no longer provide a jersey number.
Participants are required to comply with the rules of good conduct on the premises and on the tracks. Should a participant fail to comply, he/she may be excluded from the event and the following editions of the event. The following conducts are prohibited:
Participants must keep their own waste and wrappings until they have reached the specific places provided for by the organised to throw them away.
Any participant who damages the environment can be excluded from the event.
The organiser cannot be held responsible in the event of damages (theft, loss, breaking…) to the participants’ personal goods even when such personal goods are under the custody of the organiser. Accordingly, participants cannot sue the organiser for any damage caused to their personal goods and are responsible for the subscription to a proper insurance scheme to cover any loss they may endure.
When registering to RUN TO KICK, every participant expressly authorises the organisers and its successors to take, reproduce and present on any support whatsoever and by any means the participants’ images, names, voices and more generally their sporting performance during the RUN TO KICK event without any counterpart or remuneration in any form whatsoever, on any existing or future type of format or medium for any public communication in the whole world, for any use including for commercial purposes or advertisement, and for the whole duration usually granted under the regulations, regulatory, judiciary or arbitration decisions providing for intellectual property rights in every country, including pursuant to existing or future international agreements and for all the extensions to the initial duration.
Every participant expressly and irrevocably authorises the organiser and its successors, for the purposes of advertisement campaigns and promotional or commercial campaigns, to:
The participant represents and warrants that he is bound by no exclusivity contract relating to the exploitation or use of his/her image, name or voice. The organiser and its successors expressly undertake not to use the name, voice or image of any participant on a medium with pornographic, racist, xenophobic ends and more generally, not to use the name, image or voice of the participant in a way that could jeopardise his or her dignity.
All information communicated to the organiser is required to participate in the event. They will be processed by computer and will only be used for the purposes of the organisation of the event. In compliance with the law of 8 December 1992 relating to the protection of privacy for the handling of personal data, every participant is entitled to access and amend the data, which concern him/her. In order to exercise such right, please write to the organiser.
Brands, domain names, products, software, images, videos, texts and more generally, any information are and remain the sole and exclusive property of the organiser. Accepting the present rules and regulations causes no transfer of intellectual property rights. Any partial or whole reproduction or use of these goods for any reason whatsoever is strictly prohibited.
In the event of adverse weather conditions or if safety so requires, the organiser is allowed to cancel or stop the organisation of the event RUN TO KICK.
The organiser is entitled to modify the tracks at any moment. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions (heavy rains, high risk of thunderstorm…), the race’s start time can be delayed by a couple of hours at most; beyond that, the race shall be cancelled.
In the event the race is cancelled or interrupted, for any reason whatsoever, registration costs shall not be reimbursed and the gifts raised to the benefit of KickCancer shall not be returned.
By participating in the event RUN TO KICK, you accept without any possible derogation the present rules and regulations.
